Learn basics like numbers and the alphabet, plus how to introduce yourself, have simple conversations, and write a postcard en français. No prerequisite for French.
At the end of our French 101 level, you’ll be able to:
- Introduce yourself, introduce someone
- Talk about what you like and don’t like
- Talk about your family
- Ask and answer simple questions
- Count and pay in French

04A - French 201
Welcome to our Intermediate levels. Our Intermediate 1 class (201) is meant for people with 80 to 100 hours of French study, with a relatively good knowledge of basic grammar and vocabulary.
At the end of our this course, you’ll be able to:
- Introduce yourself in depth
- Ask a wide array of personal or general questions
- Talk about future actions and describe future settings
- Talk about family, relationships and comment on them
- Tell a past event
- Talk about your childhood
Pace: 2hr per week for 10 weeks
07A - French 204
Our Intermediate 4 class (204) is meant for people with 140 to 160 hours of French study. This course will give you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of French structures and expand your vocabulary beyond the very basics
At the end of our this course, you’ll be able to:
- React to information
- Highlight information
- Say how you get information
- Talk about cultural habits
- Present the program of an event
- Make an assessment
- Express a contradiction
- Describe a trip
- Give your opinion on a trip
- Say how you travel
- Tell a story in the past tense
- Talk about a book
Pace: 2hr per week for 10 weeks
Advanced 1 (B1.1)
Our Advanced 1 class (301) is meant for people with 160 to 190 hours of French study. Continue to reinforce communication skills in French.
At the end of our this course, you’ll be able to:
- Introduce yourself, talk about your character and tastes
- Talk about your activities
- Compare generations
- Give advice
- Make predictions
- Identify cultural differences
- Give explanations
- Express opposition
- Tell a current event, a story in the past tense
- Talk about your career
- Express an opinion
- Comment on a survey
- Qualify a statement
Some of these items are studied in lower levels, with simpler structures and vocabulary.

Conversation (B2 and up)
Venez perfectionner votre français. C’est vous qui parlez ! Vous y échangez des idées sur les événements du monde francophone, politique ou culturel. Vous écoutez des chansons ou des poèmes et améliorez votre prononciation : le tout dans une ambiance conviviale et joyeuse!
Nous offrons à des personnes douées d'une bonne connaissance de la langue française la possibilité de pratiquer la langue parlée et d'enrichir leurs connaissances dans un nombre de domaines variés, normalement puisés dans l'actualité du moment.
